When I first walked in to Mike's class, I had no idea what to expect and was pretty anxious and nervous. Straight away he walked over, shook my hand and introduced himself and spent time chatting to me.
Without me realising it, he had put my mind at rest and made me feel comfortable in the group of clients around me. I'm not going to lie, I found the first session tough and wondered how I would get through it.... but I went back the next day, and the next and the next.
That was 4 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did.
I wasn't huge, but I wasn't fit and I certainly wasn't toned or leading a healthy life style. I didn't really enjoy exercising and felt lethargic and tired.
I was a size 12/14 and used to wear baggy tops and breathe in constantly. I had dabbled in various gym memberships and fitness classes before but never stuck to any of them.
However, Mike's training was nothing like any I had experienced before. He made sessions fun, I looked forward to them and was sorry if I couldn't attend one. It didn't take long before I was fitter than I ever thought I could be, I was toned and felt good, and was down to a size 10 easily. Fitness has become an obsession and I train every day as I enjoy it and it makes me feel happy, awake and energised.
Not only is Mike an amazing personal trainer, his knowledge on nutrition and weight loss is fantastic and he has helped me turn my whole life around for the better. With his support my eating habits have completely changed and although I still enjoy the occasional treat, I follow a nutrition plan that he has written especially for me. I feel so healthy, energetic and am never hungry or feel like I'm on a 'diet'. I have tons of energy and it has even given me a much more positive outlook on life and much more confidence in myself too.
I would without doubt recommend Mike to anyone, no matter what their goal is. I can guarantee that after one session with him, you will warm to his personable and friendly nature and will feel the benefits on your body immediately. He has clearly worked hard to gain the knowledge he has around training, went loss and nutrition, and I certainly intend to take full advantage of this knowledge for a very long time!
